Licensing

Beat licensing is defined as non-exclusive allowance to use an instrumental provided by Beatgods. Upon licensing a beat you will recieve an untagged studio-quality digital file suitable for the duplication of phonograph records. Format will be the standard 3 verse, 16 bar with 8 bar hook measurements.

You will be able to do the following with your licensed rights:

1)  Use the beat on a commercial release of at maximum 2,000 units. After the 2,000 mark has been reached you will need to re-new another lisence, or purchase exclusive rights.

2)  Use the song for promotion purposes including radio airplay, demo's, hand outs, theme songs, background jingles, mixtapes.

LICENSING IS STILL EXCLUSIVE.

To prevent over-use of a beat in specific areas we only allow a beat to be used once within a large radius. This will help ensure exclusiveness to your area and remove the likelihood of other artists interfering with your projects.

Example: If Artist A buys a lisence in California, Artist B from L.A. would be refused the option of buying a lisence. However if we are contacted from a Artist in England or a place we believe would not affect your project it is acceptable.

Exclusive ownership

EXCLUSIVE OWNERSHIP is defined as full ownership of an instrumental. You will recieve seperate .wav files of beats in a format of your choosing. All licensing prior to exclusive purchase will be honored while future licensing will be forbidden. Credits will be Beatgods' standard general record royalty and a publishing rate of 50% will be included with exclusive contract.

Pricing

Exclusive rights are priced at a minimum of 600 USD for older instrumentals and 1000 USD for new or premium material.
